CoalitionWatch started life in June 2010 as way for HouseMark's knowledge team to keep the rest of the organisation up to date with the rapidly changing policy environment after the election.
HouseMark people found it useful and started asking, why don't we make CoalitionWatch available to our members?
So, in mid October 2010 we launched CoalitionWatch as a public blog to track and discuss the housing and related policies of the coalition government and reactions from the housing sector and commentators.
HouseMark is a membership-based organisation helping the social housing sector to improve performance and achieve value for money. We also provide housing consultancy services.
Now in its 11th year, HouseMark is jointly owned by the Chartered Institute of Housing and the National Housing Federation, two not-for-profit organisations dedicated to improving housing standards.
We are committed to working for, and with, the sector to improve performance, value for money and efficiency.
